Natural Worm Cast Soil Additive
Worm castings offer numerous benefits, including enhancing plant growth, improving soil structure, and boosting plant health and disease resistance.
They are a rich, slow-release source of water-soluble nutrients and beneficial microorganisms that improve soil aeration and water retention, while also naturally helping to suppress pests and diseases.
Comes in a Hessian bag which can also be used as a "tea bag" to make worm cast extract by soaking in water for a few hours then using as a liquid feed.
Add a little to pots, spread around established plant beds or put a little in a hole before planting out.
Can also be added to home-made compost piles to improve Bacterial & microbial life.
Worm castings are best applied 2–3 times per year, typically in early spring, summer, and fall.
